There are hundreds or thousands of mesmerizing Hindu temples across India. India is known for its rich Hindu culture and tradition. So, all these temples are in different shapes, locations, and designs but today not all of these temples are built as described in Vedic literature. Ancient Hindus never built a temple just to please the Gods. They built it to connect with the Gods, to get a calm and better mindset, or in other words to get recharged. We have to understand that an ancient Hindu temple was not a place of prayer. There was nobody in the Hindu temple in that era to lead a prayer and nobody to lead your prayer. (Temples did have priests. Their main duty was to assist worshipers in performing rituals or ceremonies. Moreover, they have traditionally been the final judge of purity and caretakers of temples.
